Basic Screen Printing Equipment List
Basically, there are only 5 manual screen printing equipments, ie: p>
1. Screen
2. Photo Emultion
3. Photo Emultion Remover
4. Squeegee
5. Ink p>
Those five equipments have their own type again depending on material to be screen printed. For those who just started in screen printing, we recommend screen print to cotton / cotton media because the equipment is water base, cheaper than screen printing to other solvent / oil base media. P>
For water-based screen printing, the type of equipment in general is: p>
1. Screen, whatever size, choose mesh T47 to T61, this is suitable for rubber ink and regular water base paste
2. Water-based photo emultion, such as Superxol TX or Superxol TZ
3. Water based squeegee, such as Unistar MTLW and its handle . If you already have a handle, it is generally reusable, just buy the squeegee again.
4. Water based ink, there is Ordinary pasta which is affordable, and there is also rubber ink which is more elastic and durable. For other colors than white, you must buy color pigment to mix with ink.
5 . Photo Emultion remover to remove the emultion pattern on screen, such as Superxol 3 , Autostrip , and Chlorine p>
Other commonly screen printed media include paper, vinyl, acrylic, plastic, glass, etc. For these media use oil based or solvent based inks, the type of equipments are generally: p>
1. Screen, whatever size, select mesh T120 to T165, this is generally suitable for solvent base inks
2. Solvent based photo emultion, such as Superxol 188
3. Solvent based squeegee, such as Unistar BTLS And squeegee handle . If you already have a handle, it is generally reusable, just buy the squeegee again.
4. Solvent based ink, we sell Royal Guard RG ink that can be used for screen printing paper, vinyl, acrylic mica, imitation leather etc. For plastic, glass,
we have not sold the ink.
